Seatechs do not charge fees for recruitment or placement or for providing employment to personnel.


Personnel are responsible for the cost of statutory Medical Certificates, Survival Certificates, Trade Certification, National Seafarers book and a Passport or other similar travel documents (Not including the cost of Visas)

    Our client is looking for personnel experienced in RDS, Tensioners, Carousels and other lay spread equipment.

    All candidates will need to hold the following certification;
    OGUK & Norwegian Medical
    Offshore survival
    GWO First Aid
    GWO Working at heights
    Relevant trade certification

  • GENERAL AD: SUBSEA EQUIPMENT TECHS/OPERATORS
    Qualifications and Experience:
    Minimum HNC (or other recognised qualification) in an engineering discipline. Multi-skilled (Hydraulic/Mechanical/Electrical fault diagnosis and repair) and whilst having specific expertise in one area, should be familiar with, and able to safely fault find in other areas. Must have minimum 180 days operational experience and be fully conversant with the operation and maintenance of systems and sub-systems associated with Subsea vehicles / ploughs.
    Appropriate and valid Offshore Survival certification and Offshore Medical.

    THE ROLE
    To operate and maintain all forms of operations equipment including plough/launch and recovery winches / “A” frames in a broad range of operational circumstances, ensuring the equipment achieves its highest performance during offshore operations and in accordance with the Client’s requirements, operating manuals and procedures.

  • GENERAL AD: ROV PILOT TECHS
    Qualifications and Experience:
    HNC/HND Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent. Minimum 100 days offshore experience in ROV operations. Must be capable of piloting the ROV in a broad range of operational circumstances and be able to navigate and operate the ROV without supervision, perform manipulator duties and be knowledgeable in the ROV control, navigation and propulsion systems.
    Appropriate and valid Offshore Survival certification and Offshore Medical.

    THE ROLE
    To assist with ROV operations and perform maintenance, preparations and repair of the ROV system as directed by the ROV Supervisor, and undertake ROV operations in accordance with Operating procedures.

    Qualifications and Experience:

  • JOB REF: ST18-1540 - VESSEL SURVEILLANCE SUPPORT
    Start Date: 23/04/18
    Duration: 8 weeks
    Working Hours: 4 days on 2 days off rotation, 12 hour shifts
    Location: Darlington

    Job Description:
    - Remote surveillance of vessel movements and monitoring of traffic in the British channel utilising the AIS software
    - assist guard vessels on location to identify any risks to cabling.
    Co-ordinate activities and liaise directly with the Marine Co-ordinator so as to ensure the protection of cabling along entire route.

    Experience:
    similar industry experience would be preferred, however in the absence of any marine experience, security or other experience of monitoring a live feed in a professional capacity would be beneficial.

    Our client is looking for a candidate who has consistent attentiveness to detail over a prolonged period and is self motivated.
